Pikes Peak Marathon 2009 Has Worldwide Appeal

pikespeak[1]The 54th running of the Pikes Peak Marathon was this past weekend. This is a special race up to the top of Pikes Peak and back down again for some. The run up is called the “Pikes Peak Ascent” and the run up and down is of course called the “Pikes Peak Marathon”.

World class runners come from all over to compete in this race. The course begins at 6295 feet above sea level and rises to the top at 14,110 feet. Read the rest of this entry »
