I think so! According to a recent study conducted by Farmers Insurance Group, we rank at number 18. The study looked at the different factors that make a city safe: crime, foreclosures, weather, air quality, life expectancy and job loss stats. We ranked just below Seattle and just above Denver. Colorado Springs Crime Statistics
Many people who are searching for a home in Colorado Springs are concerend about the safety of one area or another. In the olden days (hmmm…maybe 5 years ago) you would have to drive to the police station and ask for a crime report. I don’t think many people ever did that–too much hassle.
